n 2022, Jamaica is represented by six athletes (five men and one woman, Jazmine Fenlator-Victorian) competing in two sports: Bobsled and Alpine Skiing. For the first time, Team Jamaica has qualified in three Olympic bobsled events (two-man, four-man and the women’s monobob), and it’s the first time in over 20 years that Jamaica’s 4-man bobsled team (of “Cool Runnings” fame) will be competing. Skier Benjamin Alexander made history this year by becoming the first Jamaican to qualify for the Olympics in the giant slalom event.
