Screencraft Screenwriters Residency in Jamaica
Screencraft, a screenwriter talent discovery programme based in Los Angeles (www.screencraft.org) and the Calabash International Literary Trust joined forces to host an inaugural screenwriters retreat at Jakes Hotel in Treasure Beach in September 2017. Fourteen writers from around the world including 2 Jamaican writers who won scholarships to attend spent a week with industry mentors including Peter Craig, Steven deSouza, Vanessa Ford and Hannah Ozer.
